A new paper has just been published in Science magazine, led by PEC/Heithaus lab post-doc Simon Dedman. Here we review the ecological importance of sharks and how these may vary by location and species, and how these may have changed within the Anthropocene. The study included a collaboration with researchers across the globe and was funded by the Shark Conservation Fund.
